Michael Zobel, founder and creator of the house of Michael Zobel, can be described as a modern cosmopolitan. Born in 1942 in Tangier, Morocco, and raised in Barcelona, Spain; Michael was an apprentice and studied in Germany at what is today the Technical School for Design in Pforzheim. After working as a jeweler in France, Michael moved to Konstanz, Germany in 1968 to further his personal and professional career. With the proverbial richness and verve of his ideas, Michael quickly gained notoriety for his creations with insurmountable international success. Michael’s many international awards and prizes give homage to his creative majesty. His creations are recognized on the utmost highest level for their beauty and craftsmanship.
